Celebrate World Car Free Day

  • Aug 14, 2019

World Car Free Day falls on September 22, as a way to encourage people to give up their vehicles for the day.

This celebration is a great way to get people moving (as they turn to biking or walking in many cases), and it is beneficial to the environment.

Personal vehicles make up around one-fifth of all U.S. emissions, emitting about 24 pounds of carbon dioxide and other global-warming gases for every gallon of gas, as reported by the Union of Concerned Scientists.

If your brand is looking to promote this day, these are some of the products we suggest using, to help spread the word:

Backpacks

Since people won’t have their cars to carry their belongings, backpacks are a smart move. These can be imprinted with your logo and used by many on this day.

Water Bottles

Reusable water bottles should be given out to anyone and everyone—especially commuters who may be riding their bikes or walking on this day.

Solar-Powered Phone Chargers

In order to make sure gadgets stay charged up while out of the car, giveaway or hand out solar-powered chargers to fans, followers, customers and clients!

Sunscreen

Since a good deal of people won’t be in their vehicles, sunscreen is another wise swag option.

Sunglasses

Along the same lines, consider handing out sunglasses, with your company name/logo on them.

No matter what imprinted items you choose, we hope you are successfully able to celebrate World Car Free Day!
